Sri Krishna Committee Report – KCR to dance to Jagan’s tune

KCR is at the best of his political career at this point. His image as pioneer of Telangana movement is at peak, his political status also at the peak. If elections are to be held now in Telangana, he is in a position win majority of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Warangal, Karim Nagar, Medak and Nalgonda. He may win few more from rest of Telangana.
KCR and his TRS have lot of problems. KCR is very tall leader in TRS. But his disrespect towards leaders below him makes him difficult to attract good leaders. This is the key reason why he couldn’t pull good number of leaders from TDP/Cong even in Karim Nagar. Leaders are worried of how he is going to treat them after joining. He might scold them as opportunists, deny tickets or something else.
TRS doesn’t have electoral machinery/ organizational skills to win elections. Even in the peak of Telangana movement they could not win even few ZPTC/ MPTC seats. They don’t have electoral machinery who will take the voters to booths, who can translate the Telangana sentiment as a vote to his name (for ZPTC/MPTC/MLA/MP). That is the main reason for his hit rate being very low compared to his partners in any elections in many districts of Telangana. However last election where MLAs resigned and stood again for the cause of Telangana and achieved a great victory.
